Where does your Country Guide information come from?

Our guides are researched and written by networks of experts in each country. The content is also verified against peer-reviewed research, and publicly available data which is then curated by our in-house team.

How up-to-date are the guides?

We update content on a rolling three-year program, or when there is a significant global event. In times of dramatic change, we may suspend a country guide. Currently the country guides for Afghanistan and Ukraine are suspended.

How should I use the country guides?

Country guides serve as a helpful starting point for understanding cultural context but should never be used to make assumptions or stereotype individuals. They provide useful background information about business practices, basic etiquette, and economic and political context that can help you prepare for international interactions.

The most effective way to use these guides is to treat them as supplementary information rather than definitive rules. Always prioritize looking at individual or team Worldprism™ profiles first, as these give you much more specific and relevant insights about the people you are working with.
