We are very aware of our own subjectivity and that of the experts who contribute to the material. For this reason, we do not rely on a single source of truth, nor is content written by a single contributor. Our thorough editorial process includes desk research, collecting our own data, interviews with local experts and verification against existing cultural models. 

Where possible we factcheck statements, avoid speculation and guesswork and do not adhere to a specific political or social opinion on any of the countries.
