Ensuring Accessibility at Country Navigator

At Country Navigator, we recognize that our clients are global and diverse, each with their own needs. Therefore, we aim to make our platform accessible to everyone, with key features designed to simplify navigation and maximize usability.

Our current key accessibility features are:  

      1.  Assistive technology

The Country Navigator platform now offers a Userway Accessibility Widget, located at the bottom left-hand side of the screen.

This tool enhances the platform’s usability by providing customizable accessibility options to meet your needs. These options, including text resizing, color contrast settings, and voice navigation, help tailor the platform to users with diverse abilities. 

The widget includes:  

  • Accessibility profiles 

These are pre-made sets of accessibility settings, designed to assist users with specific disabilities or accessibility needs. Available profiles cater to a range of needs, and include Motor-Impaired, Blind, Colour-Blind, Dyslexia, Low Vision, Cognitive and Learning Disabilities, Seizure and Epileptic, and ADHD.

  • Individual accessibility settings  

If a pre-set accessibility profile does not suit your needs, the widget also allows you to select individual setting options. Any amount of these settings can be chosen at a time, to create a user experience that is personalized to you.

Please note: some of the Accessibility Widget’s features may not work on every page. We are currently resolving these issues. If a feature is not working properly and it is preventing you from using the platform, please contact Support. 

      2.  Keyboard accessibility 
 

Our platform can also be navigated with a keyboard. By using keyboard navigation shortcuts, users can move through the platform’s pages and interact with key features without requiring a mouse.  

      3.  Multilingual features  

Country Navigator aims to support users who speak a variety of languages.  

Currently, the Worldprism™ profile is available in English, Korean, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Italian, Chinese, Japanese and Russian.  

Video resources are also available with subtitles in all supported languages.   

And don’t forget – Carla, your AI culture coach, can also communicate with you in 100 + languages!  

For translations of other Country Navigator features, in-browser translation tools can help with basic navigation. We are presently working towards offering both our platform and our content in more languages. 

      4.  Inclusive and clear language 

Our content is designed to be clear and easy to understand. We avoid using complicated words and phrases, ensuring that our information is accessible to everyone.
